The story of Vitaly Semenov is not just a musician's biography; it is a chronicle of talent transformation across decades. Vitaly was born on November 4, 1974, in the city of Tash-Kumyr, Kyrgyz SSR (now Kyrgyzstan). His childhood unfolded within a unique soundscape that shaped his future multi-genre approach.
Vitaly's father, a passionate music lover, balanced his primary career with organizing discos at the local community center. Their home was filled with music — ranging from rare Western vinyl to iconic Soviet recordings. It was here that the foundation of the VitSem philosophy was laid: “Good music knows no genre boundaries, but only good music matters.”

II. Engineering Precision and Military Grit
In September 1991, the family moved to the Altai region. This period became a time of intense accumulation of life experience and professional skills for Vitaly, which would later form the very foundation of his "Laboratory."

“Working in a band required an incredible amount of energy and patience. Having walked that path, I realized: my presence in music is no accident, but it must be a lone journey. In 2006, I set out on a solo creative voyage. There was no desire to return to bands — only a physical hunger for creativity that knows no compromise.”
Vitaly's history also contains dramatic chapters — a notebook with 70 songs lost in the 90s. But the spirit of those works lives on. Today, the VitSem archive consists of more than 340 song lyrics and 24 full-length musical albums (as of the beginning of 2025!). As Vitaly himself says: “I have yet to write my best song.”
IV. Academic Foundations and Technological Breakthrough
In 2007, Vitaly enrolled in the Biysk Music College at the "Music Theory" faculty. His deep immersion into harmony and rhythm resulted in a landmark term paper — an analysis of Pink Floyd's work — and a research paper on computer-based music production technologies.
Since 2013, Vitaly has become a mentor himself, releasing video tutorials on the ORION software while simultaneously mastering REAPER. Starting from the summer of 2024, he opened a new chapter: a total reworking of his musical legacy using Artificial Intelligence.
